On the morning of Monday, June 17, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama and the Sovereign Order of Malta signed a Bilateral Agreement.

Present to the Signing Ceremony, SE Vice Minister of Health Ivette Berrio, SE Vice Minister of Health Manuel Zambrano (will take possession on July 1rst), and Lupo del Bono ( Ambassador), Tito Dutari (Charge d’ Affairs), Guillermo Quijano (Hospitaller- Panamanian Association), Lynn Carranza (Medical Volunteers-Panamanian Association).

This Agreement is of vital importance for the future activities of the Order in Panama.

The recent trip to Panama of our Leaders from Rome in February was instrumental in the positive outcome of today’s signing.

Once again, I would like to thank SE Ambassador Francisco Alvarez de Soto for his continuous support and guidance in our dealings with the Government of Panama.
