Grand Hospitaller of the Order of Malta meets with health authorities of the Republic of Panama.

On Wednesday, February 28, the delegation of the Sovereign Order of Malta, headed by His Excellency Fra’ Alessandro de Franciscis, Grand Hospitaller of the Order of Malta, was received by authorities of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama (MINSA), with the participation of Ivo Graziani, Chief of Staff of the Grand Hospitaller, Dr. Stefania Silvestri of the Department of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Count Lupo del Bono, Ambassador of the Order of Malta in Panama; Tito Enrique Dutari Martinelli, Minister Counselor; Giovanni Battista Borgiani, Chief of Protocol.

The Panamanian Ministry of Health was represented by Ivonne Villarreal, National Director of Health Services Provision, and Thays Noriega, National Director of the International Technical Cooperation Office.

The meeting focused on the implementation of a Cooperation Agreement that includes donations of supplies, shared medical tours with the participation of health personnel coming from or sponsored by the Order of Malta who, together with the teams of the Ministry of Health, will carry out interventions in various areas of the country, especially in the most vulnerable ones.
